If I'd Known Then....What I Know Now...

I have spent many a days reflecting on my life, thinking I have survived another decade.
In so many ways I've grown beautifully. There are areas in my life that I am so proud of. I can stand by my mistakes knowing they were made with good intentions. I've followed through on my own personal challenges, while my guts were wrenching for all the world to hear, knees shaking, admitting that I was nervous and scared, but I kept going. I am proud of those moments, even when they shattered pieces of my heart, and especially when the end result was desired.

I am not the same person that started this, and for that I am thankful. But, if there are any remnants of my what use to be this is what I would tell her to hold on to:

1. Spend more time loving yourself, so you can have a better understanding of where compromise is not an option.

2. Don't be afraid to walk away from people that call themselves friend

3. Never listen to the words "I love you" without corresponding actions

4. Fear nothing, and keep it moving

5. Live YOUR life, and not the life of another

6. Don't get distracted by shiny trinkets, they mature into junk and become garbage.

7. Never chase money, chase dreams, it is true Money doesn't buy happiness

I look forward to the next decade, how about you? What are some parting words you would share with your latter self?
